Introduction: In today’s medical educational programs in various institutes anatomy is an essential part of the curriculum in the first year of the medical course. An attractive and innovative anatomical museum forms a vital role in furthering the interest and educating a medical student. Once a specimen has undergone fixation it is essential to color and label the specimens in order to ensure better visualization of required structures and for its proper placement in the museum. Materials and methods: We have utilized a novel method of using commercially available nail polish as a coloring agent and as a part of the labeling of museum specimens. Results: Nail polish being nontoxic and readily available can be used without causing any complications. Discussion: Commercially available nail polish is cost effective and non-toxic. Its various usages are described along with the techniques of labeling done in our anatomy museum.

A Novel Approach for Detecting Relationships in Social Networks Using Cellular Automata Based Graph Coloring
All the social networks can be modeled as a graph, where each roles as vertex and each relationroles as an edge. The graph can be show as G = [V;E], where V is the set of vertices and E is theset of edges. All social networks can be segmented to K groups, where there are members in eachgroup with same features. In each group each person knows other individuals and is in touch ...
متن کاملEdge-coloring Vertex-weightings of Graphs
Let $G=(V(G),E(G))$ be a simple, finite and undirected graph of order $n$. A $k$-vertex weightings of a graph $G$ is a mapping $w: V(G) to {1, ldots, k}$. A $k$-vertex weighting induces an edge labeling $f_w: E(G) to N$ such that $f_w(uv)=w(u)+w(v)$. Such a labeling is called an {it edge-coloring k-vertex weightings} if $f_{w}(e)not= f_{w}(echr(chr(chr('39')39chr('39'))39chr(chr('39')39chr('39'...

A museum may be defined as an institute that displays a collection of artifacts of scientific or artistic significance to a specific group of visitors [1]. Anatomy museums play a dominant role in educating the community regarding the intricacy and structural organization of the human body [2]. The concept of anatomy museum was first conceived by the Edinburg Surgeons during 1700-1763 A.D. A cab...
متن کاملP96 Technique for Tissue Plastination in Preparing Long-Lasting Anatomical Specimens
Background: Plastination is a technique of long-term preservation of the natural tissues without the typical problems related to wet specimens. Plastinated specimens are durable, dry, and flexible. In this process, the water and fat in biological tissues are substituted by a curable polymeric resin, i.e., subsequently cured. In this study, a new unsaturated polyester resin (P96) was synthesized...
